How much do you like purple?Enough to have a purple house and a purple tree?
(These look rather blue in the photo, but in real life, they are surprisingly purple.)
At work today, I was checking a audio book reading machine (similar to a CD player / walkman) out to a blind woman. I was showing her how to use it when she asked me what color the case was. I told her it was black. She said "So it's not something cool like purple?" I said "No, sorry. Is purple your favorite color?" She said "I think so, I have a purple coat." Of course I could see that her coat was purple.

Well, the house is blue to me. The house I live in is pink. Now that is something weird! No wonder I want to move.
Pink houses are not so unusual here.
Various pastels are common, especially in the older victorian houses and the newer apartment complexes and rowhouses.
This picture of an apartment complex on my way to work doesn't have any pink houses, but it will give you an idea of what I mean.
