Christmas Already?

Christmas Tree Installation in Pioneer Courthouse Square

After my class ended on Saturday afternoon, I walked around downtown browsing the shops. It wasn't terribly exciting, but I was waiting for Sami so we could go to the fancy Intel reception and dinner at the Hilton.

I was surprised to see this giant tree going up in the square. It's not even Thanksgiving yet. It was nice to see the lights around town though. They really do cheer things up when it's dark and rainy.

Pioneer Courthouse

This building sits adjacent to the square. Built in 1869, it's the oldest federal building in the Pacific Northwest.
