Western Bracken Fern - Pteridium aquilinum
I managed to convince Aaron to come walk with me in the powerline park after work today. It got dark on us pretty quick, but we still saw some beautiful colors in the twilight.
Unfortunately I didn't have my tripod with me and I had to use the flash for this one.

These blackberries are incredibly tasty and grow literally everywhere in the summer. Unfortunately, they are non-native and very invasive.

These dogwoods were just amazing. I wish I had a better picture.
I also took a photo of Aaron admiring the dogwoods.
He says his camera phone never takes good pictures, but it seemed to be working better than he expected tonight for some reason.

Sara or Sari, We are not a sorority and I don't understand all the mystery and complication that you have added to joining our simple book group. All we wanted was to know a little about you and it seems to me you wanted to make this into a battle. if you can drop the veil you will find we have tons on common- if not our ages- our interests in nature, categorization and books.
I'd like an invitation to call you but I need the number again.
Diana
In case y'all are wondering about the previous comment. I tried to join a bookclub (the one mentioned in the BookCrossing post) but Diana the organizer kicked me out of the online site before I had a chance to RSVP.
I couldn't email her to sort things out because she had her email options on the website turned off, so I had to send very short messages in the "request invitation to the club". Hence the confusion and her distress.
BTW, I belong to two other groups on that site. Another bookclub and a walking group, and I never had trouble joining or participating in either one.
